CooVar Phosphate Grey Primer
Coo-Var Zinc Phosphate Primer is a high performance metal primer for use on metals including aluminium, iron and steel. Suitable for use on combined wood/metal as it will prime both surfaced. Ideal for fire escapes, window frames, metal gates and doors.

How do I apply zinc phosphate primer?
- Surface preparation: Clean the metal surface thoroughly to remove rust, grease, oil, and dirt. Use a wire brush, sandpaper, or chemical cleaner if necessary.
- Rust removal: Remove any loose rust or paint with a wire brush or sandpaper.
- Application: Stir the primer well and apply it evenly with a brush, roller, or sprayer.
- Drying: Allow the primer to dry according to the manufacturer's instructions, usually within a few hours.
