Fiddes - Liquid Floor Wax - All Sizes - All Colours
Fiddes Liquid Floor Wax is a clear, easy to apply, quick drying wax finish which nourishes and protects whilst providing a lasting depth of sheen that naturally enhances the beauty of your wood flooring. Easy to apply, Fiddes Liquid Floor Wax may also be applied on previously treated surfaces to maintain or improve the existing patina. Now available in a Dark shade, ideal for open grained, darker timber.
Preparation - Sand the wooden substrate in stages, working with a medium sandpaper (120 grit), through to a medium / fine grade (180 –220 grit). Always sand in the direction of the grain pattern where possible, ensuring the removal of any blemishes and glue residue prior to the application of Liquid Floor Wax. Take care to remove all traces of sanding dust. A coat of Fiddes Shellac Sealer or Clear Glaze is recommended on open grained wood flooring prior to application.
Application - Take a clean cotton cloth and lightly apply in the direction of the wood grain where possible. To obtain a uniform coverage, always wipe evenly, taking care to lightly remove any excess Floor Wax immediately with a separate, clean absorbent cloth, again following the direction of the grain pattern.

Best results are achieved when Fiddes Floor Wax is applied sparingly, and worked in small areas at any one time. Buff to desired sheen level by hand or mechanical polisher. Clean applicators with White Spirit.
Drying Time - 10 – 15 minutes at room temperature
Coverage - 16 sqm per Litre (depending on substrate and method of application)
Coats - 1 coat
Recommended use on - Floors and surfaces of fine furniture and cabinet work.
