Preparation:

For best results, ensure the wood surface is properly prepared:

  1. Clean and Dry: Wood must be free from grease and in good condition.
  2. Smooth Surface: Sand corners and edges to round them slightly.
  3. Bare or Refurbished Wood: Sand to a smooth finish and remove dust. Apply a suitable wood treatment product.
  4. Exotic Woods, Oak, Chestnut: Dilute the first coat with 10% water, followed by a second non-diluted coat. Degrease greasy woods with acetone.
  5. Stained Woods: Brush to remove loose or flaking finishes. Sand to a smooth surface and remove dust.

Application:

Ensure optimal application conditions and follow these steps:

  1. Ideal Conditions: Apply between 12°C and 25°C in dry, wind-free weather.
  2. Stir Well: Use a wide stirrer to mix thoroughly before and during use.
  3. Apply in 2 Coats: For spray application, dilute with 10% water.
  4. Additional Coats: Bright colors or new/exposed wood may require a third coat.

Advice:

  • Wood Types: Not suitable for thermo-heated, thermo-treated, or acidic woods.
  • Clear Shade: Recommended only for maintenance on previously stained wood or to dilute other shades.
  • Test First: Results may vary by wood species. Test on a small, inconspicuous area for color and compatibility.
  • Environmental Care: Remove as much stain as possible from tools after use. Avoid disposing of residues and washing water in sinks, toilets, sewers, or bins to protect the environment.
